OPAL Fuels Brings Renewable Gas to Central Valley Refuse Fleet

OPAL Fuels is expanding its presence in California's Central Valley by building a new fueling station in Dinuba, which will supply renewable natural gas (RNG) to the city's refuse fleet.

The agreement between OPAL Fuels and the City of Dinuba includes upgrades to existing CNG fueling stations and has the capacity to dispense 4 million GGE of low-carbon fuel over the next decade, expanding access for the growing agricultural hub.

The new station will provide RNG to power refuse trucks serving the community daily, displacing approximately 400,000 gallons of diesel annually. OPAL Fuels' Co-Chief Executive Officer, Adam Comora, stated, 'We are proud to invest in the City of Dinuba's fueling infrastructure and help Peña's Disposal Service deliver essential services more sustainably.'
