OPEC+ Maintains Oil Output Policy for November
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies, known as OPEC+, have decided to maintain their current oil production policy for November. This decision aligns with expectations that no major adjustments will occur until next year.
The group includes key members such as Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Algeria, Kazakhstan, and Oman. However, many producers are currently operating well below their assigned quotas due to export challenges stemming from the US-Israeli conflict with Iran. Exports are averaging only 60% to 80% of usual levels.
At the time of this decision, the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil price is down 0.59% on the day, trading at $89.85.
