Orlen Agrees to Supply Naftogaz with LNG and Fuel Amid Ongoing Conflict
Polish energy group Orlen has agreed to supply Ukraine's state-owned Naftogaz with three cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the first quarter of 2027, as well as fuel worth up to $500 million.
The deal is aimed at helping Ukraine navigate a challenging heating season due to ongoing Russian attacks on its energy system.
Naftogaz had previously purchased US-origin LNG from Orlen, and this new agreement will further diversify Ukraine's gas supplies.
