Pakistan Army Chief Seeks Iran's Help in Curbing Houthi Strikes

Pakistan's army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, has urged Iran to persuade Yemen's Houthi group not to target Saudi Arabia's energy facilities.

The request was made during a phone call between Munir and Iranian top diplomat Abbas Araghchi on Wednesday. Islamabad is trying to bring a negotiated settlement to the ongoing Middle East conflict.

Munir asked Tehran to 'use its influence' on Houthis to halt their strikes on Saudi oil and economic infrastructure, according to Pakistani government sources.
