Pakistan Cuts Petrol, Diesel Prices Amid Global Oil Price Volatility

The Pakistani government has reduced the price of petrol by 50 paisas and high-speed diesel (HSD) by 19 paisas per litre, effective from August 28.

The new prices are Rs342.60 per litre for petrol and Rs371.61 per litre for HSD, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division on Thursday.

This revision comes after the government increased the price of petrol and HSD by Rs1.12 and Rs1.11 per litre, respectively, from August 26 to August 27.
