The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has reduced the prices of re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) for Sui companies' consumers by up to 21.57% for September. The regulator announced the price cut based on two LNG cargoes imported from Qatar under long-term contracts.

The RLNG price for Sui Southern Gas Company has been reduced by $3.91 per million British thermal units (or 21.57%) to $14.223 per MMBtu for September, down from $18.1345 per MMBtu in August. For Sui Northern Gas Pipeline consumers, the price was slashed by $3.83 per MMBtu (or 20.13%) to $15.196 per MMBtu from $19.0276 per MMBtu during August.

The RLNG prices were calculated based on two LNG cargoes imported by Pakistan State Oil (PSO) under long-term contracts from Qatar, which came at a slope of 13.37% and 10.20% of the brent oil price respectively.
