Pakistan Gold Price Tumbles as International Market Sees Decline

Gold prices in Pakistan plummeted on Saturday due to a decline in the international market. The local gold price per tola dropped by Rs3,600 from Friday's rate of Rs469,136 to reach Rs465,536. This means that 10-gram gold also fell by Rs3,086, trading at Rs399,122.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) shared the updated rates, indicating a downward trend in the local market. On Friday, gold prices had surged due to a gain of Rs3,900 per tola, but Saturday's decline was more significant.

Internationally, the price of gold also decreased by $36 to reach $4,430 per ounce with a premium of $20. Silver prices in Pakistan followed suit, falling by Rs63 to trade at Rs7,098 per tola.
