Pakistan Gold Prices Crash Amid International Market Volatility

Gold prices in Pakistan plummeted on the latest trading session due to international bullion price weakness. The Sarafa Association's latest rates show gold at Rs465,536 per tola, a decline of Rs3,600 from the previous session.

The previous session saw gold gain Rs3,900 to close at Rs469,136 per tola, but this latest fall underscores the volatile nature of the domestic bullion market. International trends play a significant role in determining local prices, and the recent drop in world price contributed to the decline.

Silver prices also fell, with a decrease of Rs63 per tola to Rs7,098 against Rs7,161. This follows the trend seen internationally, where gold prices dropped $36 an ounce to $4,430 an ounce from $4,466 an ounce, including a $20 premium.
