Pakistan Gold Prices Leap Rs4,000 After International Spike

Gold prices in Pakistan's local market surged on Monday by Rs4,000 per tola following an increase in international rates.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that 24-karat gold reached a rate of Rs431,736 per tola, marking the latest price hike.

This comes after international gold prices rose by $40 to reach $4,093 per ounce. Typically, local rates are adjusted with a premium of $20 against global rates.
