Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet Amid Global Downward Trend
The price of gold in Pakistan has seen a decline on September 29, 2026. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold is priced at Rs438,136 per tola, down by Rs12,800 from the previous session. This follows a downward trend in the global market, where gold opened at $4,156 per ounce after falling by $128.
The association has also released rates for other karat weights: 22-karat gold is priced at Rs401,625 per tola, while 21-karat and 18-karat gold are available at Rs383,369 and Rs328,602 per tola respectively. The price of silver also saw a decline, with the opening rate standing at Rs6,578 per tola.
The market is expected to remain volatile next week due to various factors such as international economic developments, local market conditions, and interest-rate decisions by major central banks.
