Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet Amid Global Economic Uncertainty
Gold prices in Pakistan plummeted today, with the cost of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs3,700 to Rs426,736.
The price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs3,202, bringing it down to Rs365,857.
Bullion dealers attributed the decline in local prices to fluctuations in the international gold market, which saw a $37 decrease in the price of gold per ounce, settling at $4,043.
The factors driving these changes include global economic uncertainty, monetary policies adopted by central banks, inflation, and rising demand for safe-haven investments.
