Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet Amid Global Losses

Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday by Rs3,000 per tola amid global losses. This drop was consistent with the loss experienced in the international market.

The local gold price fell from Rs441,636 per tola to Rs438,636 during the day. The 10-gram gold, meanwhile, saw a decline of Rs2,572 and was sold at Rs376,059.

According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price drop was mirrored in the international market where the rate of gold declined by $30 to reach $4,161 per ounce.
