Gold and silver prices plummeted in Pakistan's bullion markets due to a significant global market drop. According to local sources, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs15,100 per tola to Rs467,936, while its 10-gram equivalent decreased by Rs12,946 to Rs401,179. The price of 24-karat silver also dropped by Rs397 per tola to Rs7,112.

The international market saw a similar trend, with gold prices falling by $151 per ounce to $4,454. This decline in global markets had a ripple effect on the domestic market, causing a sharp drop in prices of precious metals.
