Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet as International Rates Tumble
Gold prices in Pakistan have taken a sharp hit, declining by Rs4,300 per tola. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold has dropped to Rs436,336 per tola. The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased, falling by Rs3,687 to Rs374,087.
The international market has seen a similar trend, with gold prices dropping by $43 per ounce to $4,138 per ounce. This decline in international bullion rates is likely the main reason for the decrease in local gold prices.
Silver prices have also fallen in Pakistan, with one tola of silver decreasing by Rs56 to Rs6,522.
