Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet by Rs15,100 per Tola Amid International Decline

Gold prices in Pakistan plummeted on Saturday, reflecting a decline in international gold rates. The local gold price dropped by Rs15,100 per tola during the day, bringing it down to Rs467,936 per tola.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association reported that 10-gram gold also became cheaper, falling by Rs12,946 to reach Rs401,179. The association provided the latest rates for the local market, which were affected by a major drop in international gold prices.

Global gold prices decreased by $151 per ounce, reaching $4,454 per ounce, including a $20 premium. This decline led to a sharp reversal in the gold market, with both standard local gold measurements being impacted.
