Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet by Rs4,300 Per Tola Amid Global Decline
Gold prices plummeted by Rs4,300 per tola in Pakistan on Saturday, marking another significant drop in the domestic market. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, 24-karat gold fell to Rs436,336 per tola across the country. This decline follows a previous drop of Rs3,000 per tola just one day prior.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs3,687, bringing it down to Rs374,087. Silver prices followed suit, with a tola of silver falling by Rs56 to reach Rs6,522 per tola.
In the international market, gold prices also declined by $43 per ounce, reaching $4,138 per ounce. The simultaneous drop in both local and global markets indicates a notable shift in precious metal prices within a short period.
