Pakistan Gold Prices Plummet: Local Market Sees Sharp Decline
The prices of gold in Pakistan's local market experienced a sharp decline on Saturday. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs3,700, settling at Rs426,736.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs3,202 to Rs365,857. In contrast, 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs2,907 to Rs335,381.
The international market also saw a decline in gold prices, with a decrease of $37 to $4,043 per ounce. The price of silver in the local market dropped by Rs57 to Rs6,237, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs49 to Rs5,347.
In the international market, the price of silver also declined, falling by $0.57 to $57.58 per ounce.
