Pakistan Gold Prices Plunge Again as International Markets Stir
Gold prices in Pakistan plummeted for the second consecutive day on Friday, with the price of 24-karat gold dropping by Rs5,600 per tola to Rs456,736. This significant decline was reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10-gram gold also fell sharply, decreasing by Rs4,801 to Rs391,577.
This decline comes after a similar drop on Thursday, when gold prices had fallen by Rs600 per tola to Rs462,336. The international market saw spot gold rise 0.7% to $4,346.44 an ounce, driven by softer oil prices and ahead of US inflation data.
