Pakistan Gold Prices Plunge as Global Rates Fall

Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday following a drop in international market rates. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold price per tola decreased by Rs5,600 to reach Rs448,336. The price of 10-gram gold also fell by Rs4,801, reaching Rs384,375.

The decline in gold prices is a result of the international rate decreasing by $56 to reach $4,258 per ounce. This decrease in global rates has caused a ripple effect on local markets, leading to a drop in gold prices in Pakistan.

The price of silver also decreased, falling by Rs171 to reach Rs6,837 per tola.
