Pakistan Gold Prices Plunge Rs4,300 Amid Global Market Volatility
Gold prices in Pakistan have dropped significantly over the past day, with 24-karat gold falling by Rs4,300 per tola. The current price of 24-karat gold stands at Rs436,336 per tola, according to market data. This decline follows a decrease in international gold prices, which dropped $43 per ounce to reach $4,138.
The price drop also affected silver, with one tola of silver becoming Rs56 cheaper, bringing its price down to Rs6,522. Local bullion prices tend to respond to changes in global market rates, making the decline in gold and silver prices a predictable consequence of weaker international markets.
