Gold prices in Pakistan edged higher on Friday, following gains in the international bullion market. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA), one tola of gold increased by Rs300 to reach Rs427,736.

The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs257, reaching Rs366,714. Dealers noted that domestic gold prices are influenced by fluctuations in international bullion rates and exchange rate movements.

Global gold prices responded to various factors, including investor demand, central bank policies, geopolitical developments, and interest rate expectations. Analysts pointed out that small changes in global bullion prices can significantly impact local gold rates, as Pakistan's market closely follows international trends.
