Pakistan Gold Prices Skyrocket Amid Global Bullion Market Surge

Gold prices surged in Pakistan on Thursday as the global bullion market experienced a strong rally. The domestic price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs11,200 per tola to reach Rs465,236, according to rates reported by bullion markets across the country.

The 10-gram rate of 24-karat gold also climbed by Rs9,602 to Rs398,864. Silver followed a similar trend, with its price increasing by Rs185 per tola to settle at Rs7,044.

The sharp rise in local prices was largely attributed to the substantial gain in international gold market. Gold advanced by $112 per ounce, taking the global price to $4,427 per ounce.
