Pakistan Gold Prices Soar $69 Amid International Rate Hike

Gold prices in Pakistan surged by Rs6,900 per tola on Friday, driven by an increase in international gold rates. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that 24-karat gold rose to Rs460,336 per tola, while the price of 10-gram gold increased to Rs394,663.

The international market saw gold prices jump $69 to reach $4,378 per ounce. According to bullion dealers, gold prices in Pakistan are typically adjusted with a premium of around $20 per ounce over international rates, reflecting exchange rate movements and domestic market conditions.

Silver prices also rose by Rs300 to Rs7,169 per tola, and the price of 10-gram silver increased by Rs257 to Rs6,146.
