Pakistan Gold Prices Soar as International Markets See Gains
Gold and silver prices surged in Pakistan following strong gains in international bullion markets. The latest data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association showed a sharp increase, with gold rising by Rs4,700 per tola to Rs453,036.
The price of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs4,029 per 10 grams to Rs388,404. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold climbed to Rs356,050 per 10 grams from Rs351,024.
Silver prices recorded significant gains in the domestic market as well, increasing by Rs126 per tola to Rs6,963. Silver also rose by Rs108 per 10 grams to Rs5,969.
The gains followed a broader positive trend across international precious metal markets, with spot gold trading around $4,311 per ounce on Friday and gaining about $46 or 1.08% compared to the previous session.
