Pakistan Gold Prices Soar by Rs2,000 per Tola Amid Global Increase

Gold prices in Pakistan's local market surged by Rs2,000 per tola on Friday, following a rise in international rates. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association announced that 24-karat gold now costs Rs440,636 per tola.

The price of 10-gram gold also increased, reaching Rs377,774 after rising by Rs1,715. Gold prices internationally have risen by $20 to $4,181 per ounce.

Typically, the local market adjusts its rates by adding a premium of $20 against international rates. As a result, gold prices in Pakistan have been affected by this increase.
