Gold prices in Pakistan have surged by Rs4,300 per tola following an increase in international gold rates. The price of 24-karat gold has reached a new high of Rs441,636 per tola, while the price of 10-gram gold has increased to Rs378,631.

The rise in gold prices is attributed to the increase in international gold rates by $43 to reach $4,191 per ounce. Bullion dealers note that gold prices in Pakistan are adjusted with a premium of around $20 per ounce over international rates due to exchange rate movements and import costs.

Silver prices have also seen an increase, rising by Rs20 to Rs6,578 per tola and Rs17 to Rs5,639 for 10-gram silver.
