Gold prices in Pakistan closed lower on Saturday, following a dip in the global market. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the international market's momentum loss led to a decrease of Rs500 in local gold prices.

The precious metal now sells at Rs459,936 per tola and Rs394,320 per 10 grams, respectively. Global market-traded gold bullion was priced at USD4375 per ounce, down by just USD5 from the previous day's value.

Meanwhile, silver rose slightly, gaining USD0.13 to USD64.70 per ounce. The association noted that the dip in international prices brought down local gold prices on the weekend.
