Pakistan Gold Prices Tumble by Rs3,500 as International Market Declines

Gold prices in Pakistan dropped significantly on Thursday, following a decline in the international market. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs3,500 per tola to reach Rs483,036.

The association also reported that the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs3,001 to Rs414,125. Meanwhile, silver rates rose by 50 paisa to Rs7,329 per tola and by Rs43 to Rs6,283 for 10 grams.

The decline in gold prices was a result of a fall in the international market, where gold fell by $35 to $4,605 per ounce. The local market adjusts its rates with a premium of $20 against international rates.
