Pakistan Government Reaffirms Plan to Import 1 Million Tons of Wheat
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar led a meeting to reaffirm the government's decision to import 1 million tons of wheat, aimed at stabilizing flour prices nationwide and ensuring supply.
The Steering Committee on Wheat reviewed provincial demands and requirements for wheat, following which Dar instructed authorities to ensure uninterrupted supply across the country.
He also directed officials to control flour prices, providing maximum relief to the common man through the timely import of 1 million tons of wheat, according to officials.
