Pakistani Gold Prices Tumble Rs3,700 Per Tola Amid Strengthening Dollar

Gold prices in Pakistan plummeted by Rs3,700 per tola on Saturday, tracking losses in the international market as the US dollar strengthened.

The price of gold fell to Rs426,736 per tola and Rs365,857 for 10 grams, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

This decline comes a day after gold prices rose by Rs3,000 per tola in the local market.

The global benchmark price also fell, dropping $37 to $4,043 per ounce, including a premium of $20, due to weaker demand.
