Pakistani Stocks Rise Amid EU Wheat Export Decline
The European Union's soft wheat exports for 2026 and 2027 have seen a decline, according to recent data. In contrast, several other stocks have shown an increase in value. For instance, MLCF, which represents the Mehran Liquefied Petroleum Gas Company Limited, has increased by 1.8% to reach $93.30. Similarly, NBP, or the National Bank of Pakistan, has seen a rise of 0.63% to stand at $178.47.
Other stocks that have shown an increase in value include PAEL (Pakistan Engineering Limited), which is up by 0.83% to reach $35.33, and SSGC, or the Sui Southern Gas Company Limited, which has increased by 1.07% to stand at $23.57.
In contrast, some stocks have seen a decline in value. For example, OGDC, representing the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, has decreased by 0.08% to stand at $314.87, while PRL, or the Pakistan Refinery Limited, is down by 2.69% to reach $83.10.
