Gold and silver prices surged in Pakistan on Friday, mirroring the international bullion trends. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold traded at Rs4,700 higher than the previous day's price, reaching Rs453,036 per tola and Rs388,404 per 10 grams for 24-karat gold.

22-karat gold also saw an increase in price, reaching Rs356,050 per 10 grams from Rs351,024. Silver prices rose by Rs126 per tola and Rs108 per 10 grams to Rs6,963 and Rs5,969 respectively.

The upsurge in prices has been attributed to the solid recovery in foreign market conditions, where spot gold prices traded at $4,311 per oz, posting a sharp rise of $46 or 1.08% from the previous trading day.
