Paramount Gold Nevada Charts Course for Grassy Mountain and Sleeper Projects
Paramount Gold Nevada presented its plans for two major projects at Mining Forum Americas 2026, outlining a sharper development path for Grassy Mountain and Sleeper. Management noted significant permitting progress and stronger project economics.
The company expects final state permits for Grassy Mountain within three months, in the current calendar year. It cited a combined resource base of 5.7 million ounces across both projects. The updated feasibility study uses a $3,600 an ounce gold price and shows an after-tax net present value of about $400 million for Grassy Mountain.
Sleeper emerged as a larger near-term opportunity, with an initial assessment study showing an after-tax NPV8 of $400 million at $3,600 gold and more than $800 million at $4,700 gold. Paramount Gold Nevada has $9 million in cash and 90 million shares outstanding, with no traditional equity raise currently planned.
