Paramount Gold Nevada Sharpens Development Path for Grassy Mountain and Sleeper
Paramount Gold Nevada has made significant progress in its development path for its two main assets, Grassy Mountain and Sleeper. At the Mining Forum Americas 2026, management outlined a sharper development plan for both projects.
The company expects to receive final state permits for Grassy Mountain within three months and in the current calendar year, bringing it closer to key regulatory milestones. With about $400 million in after-tax net present value at a $3,600 gold price, Grassy Mountain's updated feasibility study highlights its strong project economics.
Sleeper has emerged as a larger near-term opportunity for Paramount Gold Nevada, with an initial assessment study showing an after-tax NPV8 of $400 million at $3,600 gold and more than $800 million at $4,700 gold. Management emphasized that the project's past-producer status could allow it to follow a faster permitting path.
The company has also highlighted its disciplined capital approach, avoiding frequent share issuance and using an at-the-market facility mainly as a liquidity backstop. With about 90 million shares outstanding, Paramount Gold Nevada currently has no traditional equity raise planned.
