The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has called on the federal government to consolidate recent reforms in the oil and gas industry, urging a more integrated national approach to gas development.

PENGASSAN president Comrade Festus Osifo and General Secretary, Comrade Jerry Amah, jointly signed a communique at the end of their 5th Energy and Labour Summit in Abuja.

The union emphasized the need for an integrated national approach to gas development, including upstream supply, processing facilities, pipelines, storage, LNG, LPG, and CNG infrastructure. They also called for commercially sustainable gas pricing, bankable offtake arrangements, and creditworthy customers.
