Pennsylvania Gas Output Plunges to Lowest Level Since 2024

Pennsylvania's unconventional natural gas production saw a decline in the second quarter of this year, falling to its lowest level since the end of 2024. According to data from the state, this trend could potentially reemerge in future releases.

The output dropped by 1.6% compared to the same period last year, marking the lowest production level since the fourth quarter of 2026. Additionally, Appalachian prices have been at two-year lows.
