Pertamina Eyes Nigerian Oil Licensing Round

Pertamina, Indonesia's national oil company, has expressed interest in participating in Nigeria's 2026 oil licensing round.

The company is seeking producing and near-production assets to boost its international upstream operations.

Tiq Abdat, Vice President of Upstream Business Development at Pertamina, stated that the company is expanding its upstream operations beyond Indonesia and is looking at opportunities in Nigeria.

Pertamina currently produces about 600,000 barrels of oil per day in Indonesia and is targeting production of 2.3 million bpd by 2030.
