Petrobras Posts Record Q2 Profit Amid Strong Oil Production
Petrobras reported a net income of $10.4 billion in Q2 2026, nearly doubling its profit from the same period last year.
The Brazilian energy company's adjusted EBITDA reached BRL93.8 billion, supported by record operating performance across its exploration and refining businesses.
Petrobras-operated oil production averaged 2.7 million barrels per day during the quarter, a 15% increase from Q2 2025.
The company attributed the stronger financial performance to higher production volumes and firmer Brent crude prices.
