Petrobras Secures 22-Year LNG Deal with Cheniere Marketing

Petrobras has signed a 22-year agreement to purchase liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Cheniere Marketing, a subsidiary of U.S.-headquartered Cheniere Energy. The deal involves approximately 0.8 million tonnes per annum and is valued for its long-term commitment in volatile global energy markets.

The arrangement provides Petrobras with a secure supply of LNG over two decades, linking the U.S. Gulf Coast liquefaction terminals to Brazil's energy grid. This move underscores Cheniere's position as a leading global LNG provider, according to its Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Jack Fusco.
