Petrobras Secures Long-Term LNG Deal with Cheniere Energy

Petrobras, Brazil's state-owned oil and gas company, has signed a long-term agreement with Cheniere Energy to purchase liquefied natural gas (LNG) for over 20 years.

The deal, which covers 0.8 million tonnes per year, is the first of its kind between the two companies.

The agreement will see Petrobras purchasing LNG from Cheniere's terminals, with the contract set to run until at least 2044.
