Higher crude oil prices continue to put pressure on oil marketing companies (OMCs) as Brent crude trades around $95.83 per barrel amid renewed geopolitical tensions. Despite this, OMCs have released the latest petrol and diesel prices for the domestic market with rates largely remaining unchanged on September 5.

The fuel prices across major cities remained unchanged except in Port Blair which continues to offer the cheapest petrol and diesel in the country. Petrol is priced at Rs 88.66 per litre, while diesel costs Rs 84.56 per litre.

Delhi has different petrol prices depending on the ethanol blend with ethanol-free petrol costing Rs 167.35 per litre, E5 petrol priced at Rs 109.24 and E20 petrol costing Rs 102.12 per litre.
