Nigerian filling stations have adjusted their petrol pump prices downward to remain competitive in the country's downstream petroleum sector, according to a market survey by DAILY POST.

The survey found that AA Rano and Mobil have reduced their petrol pump prices to N1,420 and N1,410 per litre, respectively. This is a decrease of N30 and N25 per litre from their previous prices of N1,450 and N1,435 in Abuja and its environs.

The price reduction comes as crude oil prices have fallen to around $103 and $100.30 per barrel for Brent and West Texas Intermediate (WTI), respectively. This marginal price drop is a result of the downward trend in global oil prices.
