Petronas has secured a five-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply agreement with Greece's Metlen Energy and Metals Plc. The deal will see Petco Trading (UK) Ltd, a unit of Petronas, deliver six LNG cargoes annually to Greece from 2027.

The agreement is part of Petronas' strategy to expand its presence in West of Suez markets, particularly Europe and the Mediterranean. Petronas executive vice-president and chief executive officer of Gas & Maritime Business Datuk Adif Zulkifli said that the deal demonstrates the company's commitment to providing reliable and flexible LNG solutions.

Under the agreement, Petco Trading will supply 0.6 billion cubic metres per annum (bcma) of LNG from Petronas' Atlantic portfolio. This marks another step in Petronas' efforts to create value through its global LNG portfolio and trading capabilities.
