Petronet LNG Names Sanjay Kumar as New MD & CEO

Petronet LNG Limited has appointed Sanjay Kumar as its new Managing Director and CEO. His appointment takes effect on May 13, 2027.

The decision was made by Petronet LNG's Board of Directors, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Kumar currently serves as Director (Marketing) at GAIL (India) Limited. He brings extensive experience in natural gas marketing, LNG sourcing and trading, gas transmission, shipping, regulatory affairs, city gas distribution, and business development to his new role.
