Petrus Resources Sees Record Production and Strong Financials in Q2
Petrus Resources Ltd., a Calgary-based oil and gas company, reported strong second-quarter financial and operating results for 2026. The company's average production in Q2 2026 was 11,070 boe/d, an increase of 21% from the prior year comparative period.
Operating netback was up 92% to $24.9 million ($24.73/boe) due to higher oil production and stronger oil and NGL prices. Funds flow generated in Q2 2026 was $16.3 million, a 32% increase from the prior year comparative period.
The company's record production in June averaged approximately 12,000 boe/d, representing the highest monthly production in Petrus' history. The Harmattan assets contributed to the increased production and cash flow growth.
