Poh Kong Holdings Bhd's net profit jumped by 59.7% to RM193.37 million in FY26, compared to RM121.10 million a year earlier.

The jewellery retailer reported revenue of RM1.93 billion for the period ended July 31, 2026, an increase from RM1.69 billion in the previous year.

The company attributed the rise in revenue to the surge in gold prices during the quarter under review.

Poh Kong believes that Malaysia's economy remains well-positioned despite global uncertainties, driven by strong central bank buying and consumer spending on jewellery and gold investment products.
