Poltava Region Farmers Hit Wheat Harvest Milestone

Farmers in Ukraine's Poltava region have reached an important milestone in their wheat harvest, collecting over one million tons of grain. The harvest is ongoing, with local farms demonstrating high rates of grain collection.

According to Finway, as of now, agribusiness enterprises in Poltava have harvested early grains and legumes from 279.6 thousand hectares, which is 75% of the projected area. This has resulted in a total volume of grain already collected reaching 1.23 million tons, with wheat accounting for 1 million tons.

In addition to wheat, Poltava farmers have also collected significant amounts of other crops, including 209.4 thousand tons of barley, 107.1 thousand tons of rapeseed, 31.5 thousand tons of peas, 7.5 thousand tons of rye, and 0.8 thousand tons of oats.
