Pork Export Sales Steady, Beef Exports Surge Amid Global Demand
The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) reported this week that pork export sales were steady, but above average. Mexico purchased almost half of the weekly total, showing strong demand from key customers.
Beef exports also saw an increase, with significant sales to Asia, particularly South Korea and Japan. This uptick in beef sales comes as global demand for US agricultural products continues to rise.
Soybeans, wheat, and rice exports also experienced week-to-week improvements, with notable purchases from countries like China, Egypt, and the Philippines.
