Precious Metals Rally as Global Demand Rises with Lower Oil Prices
Gold and silver prices in India have increased on Friday, September 18, 2026. The rise in precious metal prices is driven by stronger global demand for bullion and a decline in crude oil prices.
The spot gold price rose marginally to cross $4,346 per ounce, while the spot silver price recorded gains of nearly 1% to trade near $66 per ounce.
On the domestic front, 24-karat gold is priced at ₹15,283 per gram, while 22-karat gold and 18-karat gold are priced at ₹14,009 per gram and ₹11,462 per gram respectively.
