Punjab Closely Monitors Flour Supply to Meet Demand

The Punjab Food Safety and Consumer Protection Department is closely monitoring the flour supply in Punjab to ensure uninterrupted availability.

A department spokesperson stated that the supply of flour prepared from government wheat was being ensured until September 10, 2026. The flour mills across the province were grinding government wheat and supplying a 10kg bag of flour at Rs1,100.

The department had supplied 222,737 bags of 10kg flour, 342,469 bags of 20kg flour, and an additional 131,956 bags of 20kg flour. The spokesperson said that the Punjab government was taking all possible measures to ensure sufficient availability in the market.
